Hands & Hearts for Horses is hosting an Interactive Vaulting Workshop (Only) sanctioned by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) at our riding center in Thomasville, GA, November 24-26, 2019. We are so excited to welcome back the expertise of PATH International faculty and educator, Sandy Webster. With over thirty years’ experience in the industry, her wealth of knowledge will give each participant a wealth of knowledge and introduction into the world of interactive vaulting.
The Interactive Vaulting Workshop led by trained PATH Intl. interactive vaulting faculty guides attendees through the basics of interactive vaulting. Activities include proper lungeing technique and appropriate tack, ground exercises, barrel work and group oriented activities both on and off the horse. Daily interactive vaulting sessions led by the workshop faculty provide examples of therapeutic interactive vaulting lessons as well as an opportunity for the participants to experience interactive vaulting for themselves. Interactive vaulting activities promote interaction, creativity, awareness and memory, and the incorporation of these into lesson planning and development. Basic vaulting movements will be taught with an emphasis on safety, spotting and determining when a student is ready to attempt movements on a moving horse. This workshop is a requirement for the PATH Intl. Interactive Vaulting Instructor Certification.
If you are interested in learning more about interactive vaulting and what it takes to become an interactive vaulting instructor, AUDITORS are welcome. The fee per participant for auditing is $100 for all three days.
