Brooklynn is our volunteer spotlight of the month for March!!
Brooklynn is one of our wonderful riders, as well as one of our most enthusiastic volunteers! She is always willing to help out leading horses, getting horses groomed and tacked up for lessons, at our horse shows, and with any other jobs she is given around the barn! She is always willing to learn new things, and we love having her as part of our Hands and Hearts for Horses family. We interviewed Brooklynn about her time with us. :)
What motivated you to volunteer at Hands and Hearts for Horses?
I wanted to get more experience and be around horses!
Do you have a Hands and Hearts for Horses moment you can share? (Funny, heartwarming, meaningful, memorable, favorite, etc)
My favorite memory is riding bareback on Dolly.
What's one piece of advice you would give a new volunteer?
Don’t touch the horse’s faces!
How long have you been volunteering with Hands and Hearts for Horses?
About 4 years!
Who is your favorite horse at Hands and Hearts for Horses and why?
I can’t pick just one! Chancy, Jack, and Lily are my favorites!
