Kaiden is our volunteer spotlight of the month for September!
Kaiden has been volunteering with us for about half a year! She is always willing to jump in and help wherever she is needed! She comes and helps out multiple days a week and is a regular volunteer in our school groups, group session, and summer camps! From leading to side-walking to barn chores and helping arrange activities during summer camp, she approaches any task we ask of her with hard work and dedication! She has completed one of our advanced volunteer trainings with Mrs. Jan and loves learning anything she can! We love having her as part of our Hands and Hearts for Horses family!
What motivated you to volunteer at Hands and Hearts for Horses?
What motivated me to volunteer at Hands and Hearts for Horses is my love for horse’s and wanting to help others.
Do you have a Hands and Hearts for Horses moment you can share? (Funny, heartwarming, meaningful, memorable, favorite, etc)
One of the most memorable moments at Hands and Hearts for Horses is probably when I got to participate in the the rodeo. My most meaningful and heartwarming are always when I get to help Kayden in his lessons.
What's one piece of advice you would give a new volunteer?
One piece of advice i would give a new volunteer is to work hard and get to know the people that you are working with.
How long have you been volunteering with Hands and Hearts for Horses?
I’ve been working at Hands and Hearts for Horses for about half a year.
Who is your favorite horse at Hands and Hearts for Horses and why?
My favorite horse would have to be Ringo, I love his personality, because he is pushy sometimes but also very sweet. Truly I love all the horses at Hands and Hearts for Horses.
