"GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES!"

Well hay there my fellow Hands and Hearts for Horses fans! It’s been a while since I’ve been back with updates about all the exciting things going on at the barn! Things have been so hectic and exciting I’ve barely been able to keep up!

Blog Reminders

Each week in my blog there will be one hidden clue to my identity, so make sure you tune in and read my blog every week for another clue! REMEMBER, if you think you know which horse I am, shoot us a message or email Stephanie at stephanie@handsandheartsforhorses.com ! Don’t spoil the mystery for our other followers by posting your guess publicly! Can you piece together the clues and figure out which horse I am? Because I’ll never tell, well not until enough of you have guessed my secret! Once enough correct guesses have come in, I’ll post a summary of the clues that should have led you to guess my identity and we will do a big reveal!

The first person to guess my identity correctly will win a Hands and Hearts for Horses sticker and a piece of pretty Hands and Hearts for Horses themed jewelry created by our very own boss lady (or as the humans call her executive director) Susie’s own mom! So, tune in for those clues and get those guesses in! One guess per person, per week please!

Great ways to figure out which horse I am are coming to volunteer, being one of our riders, or investigating on our social media or website!

Our 2024 Tailgate Was A Big Hit!

First off loyal readers, I wanted to let you all know that our 2024 Tailgate Party was a blast this year!!! Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time! The food, music, oysters, face painting, bouncy houses, yard games, football games on TV, great horses, and great company made for a smashing success! While our final amount fundraised is still being calculated, the smiles on all the human’s faces tells me that the event was a success! Although I was NOT one of the three horses crowned for Homecoming Court, I LOVED getting to see my pals crowned and do a little victory lap through the party! The winners were chosen based on the number of votes/donations they received. Luke was our Homecoming King, Dakota the Homecoming Prince, and Neve was the Homecoming Queen! Congratulations to my friends!

Our Tailgate Was a Hit!!

It was a great opportunity for people to learn about our program and come together as a community! Chris Fralish of Chris Fralish Photography caught these wonderful moments!

“Good Things Come in Small Packages!”

We have TWO newcomers to the barn fans, and one of them is causing quite the stir around here! When our new miniature horse Picasso came out of my human friend Stephanie’s minivan, us horses did NOT know what to make of this thing and were to be honest, a little scared. But now we have gotten used to having him at the barn and are so excited to have him here! I hear the humans have a lot of fun ideas for making him part of our program! He is possibly one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen, and we can’t wait for you all to meet him!

Meet Picasso the Mini Horse!!

This cutie traveled here in Ms. Stephanie’s mini van!

Picasso was a great traveller!

Our other newcomer is Lone Star! He is a 15-hand quarter horse that the humans have purchased, who reminds us horses a lot of our buddy Eclipse! We are excited to see how he fits into the program, he seems really patient with a lot of things, so we are hoping he loves his new job!

Meet Lone Star!

Our friends Moses and Kolt have headed back to their day jobs for the season but should hopefully be back again sometime in Spring!

Tune in next time for another clue to my identity, and to keep up with all the happenings at the barn!

XOXO
