"THIS AIN'T MY FIRST RODEO!"
Happy Monday Hands and Hearts for Horses readers! It’s me your friendly, mysterious “NEIGH”borhood horse blogger back with another exciting entry of my blog!
Blog Reminders
Each week in my blog there will be one hidden clue to my identity, so make sure you tune in and read my blog every week for another clue! REMEMBER, if you think you know which horse I am, shoot us a message or email Stephanie at stephanie@handsandheartsforhorses.com ! Don’t spoil the mystery for our other followers by posting your guess publicly! Can you piece together the clues and figure out which horse I am? Because I’ll never tell, well not until enough of you have guessed my secret! Once enough correct guesses have come in, I’ll post a summary of the clues that should have led you to guess my identity and we will do a big reveal!
The first person to guess my identity correctly will win a Hands and Hearts for Horses sticker and a piece of pretty Hands and Hearts for Horses themed jewelry created by our very own boss lady (or as the humans call her executive director) Susie’s own mom! So, tune in for those clues and get those guesses in! One guess per person, per week please!
I have included links to my past blogs in case you missed them so that you can look for the clues to my identity!

THIS AIN’T MY FIRST RODEO!
Everyone at the barn has been getting ready for our 3rd Annual Rodeo which is scheduled for Saturday May 18th! This is a super fun time for our horses, staff, volunteers, and especially our riders! We all put SO much work into making our rodeo a great family fun event! Our riders love getting to show off how hard they have worked for family and friends and getting the chance to earn ribbons! A lot of our riders don’t get a lot of chances to do this type of thing and it helps them build confidence and a sense of pride in their accomplishments. This is also our official send off for our spring session!
We have been training as hard as all those movie stars doing their training montages to Eye of the Tiger! In fact, stay tuned on our social media pages for our own training montage coming up soon! We horses have been doing stretches, warmups, clover leaf barrel patterns, Texas barrel patterns, cow roping, putting hoof conditioner on our SHOD and unshod hooves, and goat tying, and man it is a lot of work! But all this work is completely worth it when we witness the joy on our riders and their families’ faces at the Rodeo! All are welcome to come watch and the rodeo should run from about 8:00AM-3:00PM! We horses hear there will even be a Taco Food Truck at the rodeo this year! This is our last chance for our regular session riders, volunteers, horses, and staff to be together before we do our summer full of summer camps!
While me and my horsey friends won’t get to enjoy tacos, we are hoping to get some extra hay for working so hard! You can help us get this extra hay by donating to our May Hay Fundraiser which is off to a great start! Help us keep spreading the word about our fundraiser so that we can reach our goal of $25,000 to cover all our hay costs for the year! Remember, just $12 buys one bale of peanut hay or two bales of coastal hay!
Donations can be made multiple ways!

‘Til next time!
