BIG BLOGGER REVEAL: HANDING OVER THE REINS!
Hay there Hands and Hearts for Horses fans! It’s me your mysterious “NEIGH”borhood horse blogger. Summer camps have been SO hectic that I haven’t been able to keep up with the blog as often! We have officially reached the end of camp now!!! But guess what! We had a couple of people guess my secret identity correctly, so I am ready for my big REVEAL!!
After this reveal I will be handing the blog reins over to one of my other herd mates!
First though, it is time for us to go over the clues that should have led you to guess which horse I am!
THE CLUES
Week 1: SLOW
Week 2: HER
Week 3: SMALL
Week 4: SHOD
Week 5: SMOOTH
Week 6: PAINT
So, you were supposed to figure out that I am one of the slowest horses here, I am a girl, I am one of the smallest horses, some of my feet are shod, I have a smooth gait, and I am a paint horse. As I am the ONLY female paint horse at Hands and Hearts for Horses currently, that was the biggest clue to my identity.
Guess what? I’ve been Lily this whole time!
The first one to send in the correct guess on my secret identity to my friend Stephanie was Katie Tabb!! Katie is one of our wonderful volunteers and her time here must have helped her figure out my identity! Help me congratulate Katie on her great detective skills!
I will be handing over the reins to the next mystery horse blogger from our herd! I have so loved getting to share the happenings around the barn with you all! Stay tuned for the first post and clue from our next mystery horse blogger!!
Reminder! The barn is CLOSED for the month of August due to the extreme heat!! We horses and our humans need a break during this time. The humans will be busy getting everything ready for our Fall Session to start back in September. Except for very specific times during this month when we request help, the barn is CLOSED to volunteers. This is due to the fact that staff is often in and out of the barn taking care of things they can’t do during sessions and camps, and no volunteers can be on the property when staff is not present due to liability reasons. So, while we miss our riders and volunteers, please refrain from coming out to the barn outside of times we have requested. Thank you all so much and we look forward to seeing you in September!
This is Lily signing out!
XOXO Lily, the second mystery “NEIGH”borhood horse blogger
